The Hindu Sangharsh Samiti has launched a campaign in Shimla against alleged illegal street vending by individuals from outside the state, demanding an inquiry into their assets and income sources.
The Hindu Sangharsh Samiti submitted a memorandum addressed to Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar demanding that the civic authorities should abandon the process to issue any such licence.
The politician, Rao Nadeem, who is also a property dealer, did not attribute any reason for selling off his property.
